In Japanese cuisine, Kombu seaweed dashi stock is used as a flavor base, which makes it the most important ingredient for making Japanese food. Dashi stock highlights and balances the delicious taste of the ingredients of dishes, giving the dishes umami flavor and more depth. Umami, the origin of the delicious flavor, was discovered from Kombu seaweed. Kombu seaweed is rich in umami. Kombu seaweed also contains dietary fiber (fucoidan, alginic acid), calcium, and potassium.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The name of this product is “Enjoy Tearing Delicious KOMBU SEAWEED.”  In Japanese, it is called “Sakeru-Kombu.”
This is a fun snack food that takes advantage of the property of Kombu seaweed of peeling vertically into straight strips to eat.
It is made with a special type of Kombu seaweed that is softer than regular Kombu seaweed.

• After opening, fasten the bag shut or put the contents into an airtight container and enjoy it while it’s fresh.
• As KOMBU is a natural product, its thickness, size, and firmness can vary.
• As Kombu seaweed is a natural product, some brownish-red spots may be visible. These are only slight differences in the pigments of Kombu seaweed, therefore there is no need for concern.
