Taco is a mexican wrap made from corn flour and you wrap variety of ingredients with it; that often includes meat but we recommend you to use Textured Soy Protein instead, It will be deeply satisfying taste, with umami of tomato and spices!

Ingredients

Serves 2
  • 200 g (solid weight 105 g) Textured Soy Protein
  • 1/2 onion
  • 75g can of tomatoes
  • 1/2 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
[seasoning]
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil powder
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 laurel
  • dash of red pepper powder

Direction

[Prepare the Textured Soy Protein]
  • Place the Textured Soy Protein in a strainer and squeeze out the liquid properly.
[Make Tacos]
  1. Heat the oil in a pan, add finely chopped onion and garlic, and cook until firm.
  2. add the strained Textured Soy Protein, chopped tomato and seasonings and simmer.
  3. Take laurel and cloves.
  • Recommend to eat with lettus, tomato and tortilla.
